This site was designed to provide citizens with a comprehensive, simple, intuitive and usable tool, in all cases. For a public website, accessibility is a fundamental requirement such that people can access the site regardless of any technological, physical or environmental limitations. Today, websites must also be responsive, which refers to the ability of a website to automatically adapt to the user's screen size (e.g. computer, tablet or smartphone) so that it is easy to read and use.
This site guarantees compliance with the technical requirements set out in Annex A to Law 4/2004 concerning measures to aid disabled access to ICT (known as the Stanca Law) and it was developed using the HTML5 markup language and CSS style sheets.
Site design was divided into progressive stages, with built-in quality control phases that encompassed testing site usability and accessibility. Each template was verified using automated validation tools before being manually tested by an external accessibility expert in accordance with the methodology established in Annex A to the Stanca Law.
